Peter is a career Corporate Communications specialist who has operated at the highest level across all aspects of the Communications discipline working with high profile businesses.
His early career included working in journalism and the PR consultancy field. He was formerly Head of Public Relations for British Airways, from the time of its privatization, to the 10th anniversary of its flotation.
Peter was also Communications Director of BUPA for 12 years. During that time the Company doubled in size and expanded its operations from a UK-based business, into an international group. This combination makes Peter uniquely placed to understand the Corporate agenda, the key role that Communications plays in delivering it and, crucially, the skills needed , and the pressures faced, by senior communications professionals. He also has extensive Crisis and Change Management experience.
Marie Louise is an experienced Senior Executive with extensive Board-level experience gained through an initial background in journalism and PR Communications, followed by a 20+ year history in managing agencies to deliver significant business growth and profitable returns.
As CEO of Hill & Knowlton UK and a member of Hill and Knowlton's European Executive Committee, Marie Louise was responsible for its £25 million + fee revenue and over 275 staff. During her tenure as CEO she developed and grew Hill and Knowlton into a full service agency offering a complete range of PR services in all sectors and practices.
Since leaving Hill and Knowlton in 2006, Marie Louise has developed a portfolio career in management consultancy, mentoring and non-executive directorships which include AIM listed companies. She has a proven ability in developing products, services and people.
Her understanding of producing a comprehensive and consistent business offer has proved invaluable to a number of client and PR organisations, particularly in the current economic climate where her experience of managing success through previous recessions has been extremely important.
